The Road Within

Everyday Rachel and I pull to the side of the road and find somewhere to eat. Sometimes it is on a picnic table at a gas station or rest stop. Other times we pull out our trusty lawn chairs. Our diet has consisted of peanut butter sandwiches and harvest cheddar sunchips. With a dessert of scooby snacks or more sunchips. I couldnt be happier about it!

We werent able to get as close to Mt. Rushmore as we wouldve liked, but those fools were trying to charge us money just to look. Bump that!

The scenery has been absolutely amazing. No amount of pictures or words could capture it all. There are so many places out west that havent been touched or ruined by man, and they are the most beautiful things i’ve ever seen. Rachel and I are kind of mad they put a highway in between it all. It really makes the world so much bigger in my eyes when I get to drive into all of its glory and beauty about 10 hours a day. It also makes me realize just how big God is. After all, he created every last wild flower and cricket we have witnessed so far. The world is a beautiful place and all this driving has made me realize it more than ever.
